Here is my final piece! I actually really liked how it turned out but it was definitely difficult to decide on the finishing touches. I decided that the line on the right had been to thick, so I used the technique I had used on the far left over there too to thin and soften things out. I really like how this turned out, I think it helped with the balance and cohesiveness, Next, I decided that I wanted to bring one of the background colors to the foreground. I also feel like this helped bring things together, added a nice pop, and broke the repetitive vertical pattern. You may also notice that since my last post, the painting has a different orientation. The horizontal orientation is how I had originally intended it to go and that's what the rest of the class seemed to like as well.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this project. I feel like I learned a lot about practice, decision making, and how to balance expression with deliberateness.
